Our Holiday

Merry Christmas (belated). We only took 1 picture opening presents, but we took these later Christmas day when we went snowmobiling with my Dad and Irene who came up to spend Christmas with us.Brian feels very at home on a snow machine...can you tell? Here we both are enjoying the snow and the sun...not really. It was a lovely 13 degrees and lightly snowing, and our cheeks were literally FREEZING. But it was fun other than that. We kept getting stuck and Brian and Dad would dig and push and pull while I played in the snow that was almost up to the top of my legs. That was totally cool. I was sad that we had left the camera in the car so we couldn't get pictures of it.

We never did get our Christmas Cards out, even though we printed out a bunch of them. We apologize for that. BUT we decided to post it here for everyone! So, here is a Christmas Card for all of our family and friends.

Graduation!

It is (almost) official! I walked the line yesterday and got my lovely blue diploma case. Thats why its only almost official...I have to wait 6-8 weeks to actually get the piece of paper to go in it. My mom and my dad and step-mom came up for the occasion. I know that all the rest of my family wishes they could have been here, and its okay that they weren't able to make it. I totally understand-its CRAZY this time of the year.

Brian and I went to the Graduation Banquet with my parents right before commencement.

My fellow graduates and I at Convocation, awaiting our turn to walk.

My pretty blue Diploma case which now sits lonely and empty at my bedside.

Dr. (Sister) Moss, whom I have worked for the last 4 semesters, and I. I still get to help her out for a few weeks in order to get grades done and next semesters classes set up.

Announcement

As promised, here is my graduation announcement. I designed it myself. Sorry if you didn't get one, but we limited the sending to family only...that was the financially responsible thing to do, especially with having to send out Christmas cards as well. I blurred out some sensitive information to guard against identity theft. You never know what kind of weirdos are out there.

The Countdown Begins!

5 more days before I FINALLY graduate. It only took me 12 semesters (isn't that how long a Master's is supposed to take?). Its funny to think that if I never want to step foot in a classroom again, I don't have to. Its unlikely that that will happen, though. Eventually I do want to get a masters. Maybe that will only take me 6 semesters to do ;) I'll try to remember to post my Graduation announcement on here for everyone who hasn't seen it.
