So I said I would post some of the pictures once I had a chance to edit them, so here is a collage I made. Click on it to see it bigger.

He did it!

After working with him and placing all sorts of toys and even our cell phones just out of reach, Sam finally rolled from his back to his stomach on his own. Yay! What did we have to tempt him with in order for him to want it bad enough to go all the way onto his tummy? The remote control. He is such a boy!

I took some pictures of Sam last Thursday, just experimenting with backgrounds and lighting and such. Some turned out really cute. If anyone (ie: friends and fam) wants me to take some pics of your kids for free, let me know and we'll set something up. All it'll cost you is a CD to burn them on, a little bit of waiting time to touch them up and your permission to let me use them to show off what I can do. I haven't edited any of these yet, but once I do I'll post them, too. I just couldn't wait to post a few (okay...so its more than a few) recent ones of Sam since I haven't for a while.

Long Time...

Wow, its been almost a month since I've posted...granted its a short month because February only has 28 days. I guess I just figured that our life hasn't really had much in the way of news. Brian is still working and going to school, Sam is still happy-go-lucky (although he did turn 6 months old a few days ago) and still won't roll from his back to his stomach (yes I mean "won't" and not "can't...he gets most of the way there and then rolls back onto his back because, as I figure it, he just doesn't want to be on his tummy...hence the reason he rolls onto his back almost the second we put him on his tummy), and I am still alive. So, not much to report, but I'll try to make this interesting.

Daylight savings time has really thrown us for a loop. I thought I hated it before we had a baby, but now I REALLY loathe it. Just a short month after getting Sam to start sleeping through the night once again (he goes through spurts), Daylight savings time has to come along and throw him all off again. Now he gets up not once, but TWICE a night. Last night I let him scream it out the first time, and usually after a few nights of doing that he stops waking up. But when he wakes up later on its usually because he is starving. Why he can sleep through the hunger some nights and not others, I don't know. His naps have been turned all skewompus as well, but seem to be getting better. I just hope the church on Sunday doesn't throw him off schedule (as usual).

Brian is really enjoying his classes, and especially his organizational communications class. Its all about being a business consultant/advisor type thing. He's decided that is what he wants to do.

I guess thats all for now...I know, our life is SO exciting... ;)
