So much going on!

It is official...we have a due date. Of course, it is always subject to change, but for now we are due on Sep. 13, and I am almost to my 8th week! Things have been progressing normally, including the morning sickness (really all day) and vomiting which set in about 5 or 6 weeks. Just thinking about certain things makes me gag and I can't step foot in the kitchen half the time. Although, yesterday and today haven't been so bad since I went in and talked to a nurse at the clinic. She is my hero. I was a little queasy yesterday, but didn't get full-out sick until about 8:00 last night, and so far this morning I'm just a little queasy yet again. SO much better than the all-out puke fest of the days before.

On top of this, I am still looking for a job, and it seems like the market up here is pretty dry. I guess its been a blessing in disguise that through the worst of the morning sickness I wasn't sitting at a desk I couldn't get away from. I still keep feeling that there is something out there for me, though. So, I guess if anyone hears of anything let me know. I need to start paying off those student loans and such.

And in other news...my mom is getting remarried. So, life is never dull...even when I have nothing to do all day.

Happy New Year!

So, another year has gone by, and a new year is now here with all kinds of new adventures awaiting. To quoth Anne of Green Gables, "Tomorrow is fresh with no mistakes in it." I'm going to think of this whole new year as one big "tomorrow," and think of it as starting fresh without any mistakes. The trick is to do our best to keep it that way. Although, the nice thing is even if we can't keep it free from mistakes, the next year (or even the next day) is new and fresh and we can try again. So, here is wishing all of you a happy and wonderful New Year.
